The team support us on a pro-bono basis and really believe in our commitment to veterans and their families. They are passionate about growing our commercial success in order to increase our impact across the veteran community.
Paul Botterill
Ipswich-born Paul Botterill served as a Seaman Officer in the Royal Navy, where he commanded a Fast Patrol Boat and a Minesweeper. After a period working for IBM, he spent 40 years in the marine container business, eventually becoming President and CEO of Seaborne Intermodal Holdings LLC, and Executive Chairman of both Wind Container Holdings and Puffa Limited. Paul has also held several roles in the voluntary sector, including mentor and board member of the Prince’s Trust in Suffolk, Chairman of Littlegarth School, and Chairman of The Army & Navy Club. He is currently a Trustee and Honorary Treasurer of The Not Forgotten. Paul met Nigel at a Not Forgotten event in 2018 and has been supporting Combat2Coffee ever since.
Paddy Bishopp
Paddy Bishopp has spent 25 years as an integral part of the Suffolk food and drink scene. He founded Eat Anglia before co-founding his most well-known company, Paddy and Scott’s Coffee, in 2007. Starting with a 2-kilo roaster in a garage, Paddy, with Scott and the team grew the Paddy and Scott’s Coffee into a national brand, expanding across retail, hospitality, and business sectors. After exiting the company, Paddy became a friend and mentor to Nigel, impressed by the impactful work of Combat2Coffee. This led to him joining the team as a non-executive director in 2023. In this role, Paddy focuses on making the business more commercial and helping to shape its strategic direction. In addition to his work with Combat2Coffee, Paddy sits on the Suffolk Community Foundation Food and Drink Fund committee, reviews the food and drink scene for The Suffolk Magazine and serves as a local food and drink strategy consultant for Sizewell C.
Will Anderson MBE
Veteran turned business leader, Will joined the Combat2Coffee team after meeting Nigel at a regional event and being inspired by the organisation’s impact and potential. “It was clear to me from the outset that the singular mission to connect people in need over a good brew was so powerful… Combat2Coffee sells great coffee and channels the profits to help those who’ve served and their wider communities… what could be better!” After 18 years in the British Army commanding tanks and flying helicopters, Will is now enjoying an exciting career helping businesses grow and succeed through effective strategic communications and growth marketing. Most comfortable in highly demanding situations requiring a ‘whole business view’ and a clear grasp of context, Will loves connecting people, organisations, and ideas to get the best things done right. Will is a trustee of the Seckford Foundation, has an MBA from Cranfield University, and was made an MBE for his military service.

Darren is the Managing Director of Tiptree Patisserie, where he focuses on team development, sales growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction. With a proven track record of driving growth and profitability in the competitive food and beverage industry, Darren excels in areas such as team dynamics, reinvention, B2B relationships, SME creation, and full P&L management. In addition to his corporate achievements, Darren is deeply committed to social responsibility. As a Non-Executive Director at Combat2Coffee, he brings a passion for community engagement and social impact. This dual focus on business excellence and societal contribution underscores his commitment to leading with both strategic insight and empathy.
